I am a board member of Norwegian Red Cross Youth. We are responsible for the organization as a whole, and we are the ones who make the decisions for the organization.

Akershus
Akershus Red Cross is the district organization for Akershus in Red Cross, covering the local branches like Skedsmo.
Member of the Election Committee for Akershus Red Cross
I am a member of the Election Committee for Akershus Red Cross. We are responsible for the election of the new board for Akershus Red Cross.
More specifically what I'm doing is to get in touch with the local Red Cross Youth organizations in Akershus, and ask them if they have any candidates for the board.

The Gathering 2023
"TG". Organized by KANDU ("CANDY")
The Gathering is the second largest computer party in the world. Each year in the Easter break, TG attracts more than 5200 (mostly young) people, with attendance increasing every year.
Crew member of Core:Systems
In 2023, I decided to go a different route than the previous year. I applied for Core:Systems which develop and host all the systems used at TG. This is a year-round team, so I am excited to continue working with them going further in to 2024.

I have been leading Skedsmo Red Cross Youth since March 2023, and am happy to say I am proud of the work we have done so far. We have had a lot of fun activities, and I am looking forward to the future.

KANDU aka. CANDY
Creative Active Norwegian Data Youth
KANDU is the organization behind The Gathering, but there's more than just the yearly event. KANDU is a youth organization that works to promote creativity, activity and community through the use of computers and technology. KANDU is a non-profit organization, and is run by volunteers. The organization is open to everyone, and is politically and religiously independent.
I was elected as a deputy board member, and have since then been active in the board.

The Agency for Waste Management in the City of Oslo
This is my current job which include tasks like operational support, user support (for our employees), networking, programming and more.

Oslo Pride 2022
Organized by Oslo Pride
Oslo Pride is Norway's largest celebration of love, freedom and human rights. The festival takes place in the last week of June each year, and is a ten-day festival with over 200 events, including debates, workshops, parties, art exhibitions, film screenings, concerts and of course the big parade.
Tasks vary from year to year, but generally they include: setting up and taking down the festival area, helping with the parade, helping with the concerts, helping with the workshops, cleaning up and of course meet other people in the same community.

Volunteering for Skedsmo Red Cross Youth
I am volunteering for Skedsmo Red Cross Youth. We have activities for youth once every week, varying from Wednesdays and Saturdays mostly. It is completely free for everyone to join, and we have a lot of fun activities, such as go-kart, baking nights, game nights, game tournaments, movie nights, lazertag etc.
The goal is to make it completely free to join, so we cover everything from transport and tickets to snacks and prizes.

In 2022, I was originally in the team Location:Site, but we had to cancel because of the pandemic. We therefore changed this to an event online, and since I was the only one that came from the Location:Site team (or didn't get reassigned), I was eligible to be Chief. I was officially named the Chief of Glenn:Site.
